Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated graduate civil inspector to join our supervision team on a landmark tower project. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in civil works inspection, ensuring that construction activities meet quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. The graduate civil inspector will work under the guidance of senior inspectors and engineers, supporting daily site supervision and reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and inspecting civil construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Conduct routine site inspections of structural works, concrete pouring, formwork, rebar installation, and finishing works.

Prepare daily site inspection reports and document any deviations or non-conformities observed during site activities.

Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to verify that construction practices meet project requirements.

Support the implementation of quality control and quality assurance processes on site.

Participate in reviewing method statements and inspection & test plans (ITPs) relevant to civil works.

Attend site meetings and toolbox talks as required, gaining exposure to project coordination and safety management.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and material approvals.

Escalate any quality or safety concerns to the senior inspector or resident engineer for immediate action.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.

Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in construction supervision or site inspection (internships or training projects included).

Basic understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and quality standards.

Strong attention to detail with good reporting and documentation skills.

Effective communication and willingness to learn from senior team members.

Familiarity with industry standards and safety practices is an advantage.
