Graduate Engineering Trainee

Job description / Role

During our one year graduate training program, Graduate Engineering Trainee will undergo intensive hands-on training with different departments to understand Daikin products and After-market operations. Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) will learn the technical knowledge and gain practical experience as part of on-the-job training. Graduate Engineering Trainee will be assigned to a specific project related to field of work and submit a report at the end of program as an individual or a team project.

After completing one year training program, Graduate Engineering Trainee will be evaluated and considered for permanent employment within Daikin Middle East and Africa in a suitable role and Department based on the performance and potential.

Requirements

Education:
• Fresh Graduate or having not more than 2 years of experience in Bachelor Degree - Mechanical Engineering
• Elective course in refrigeration and air conditioning, thermodynamic or HVAC related course/workshop is a must
• Willing to spend training period in various Daikin office locations, and open, after the traineeship, to work abroad especially in Middle East and Africa locations.
• Experience in International Exchange Program will be highly considered e.g. AIESEC, Erasmus, IAESTE, AFS Intercultural Program and etc.
• English efficiency is a must
• Knowledge of any other language is preferable (Arabic, German, French, Spanish)

Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English both verbal and written
• Microsoft office skill (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
