Key Objectives
- Identifying potential hazards and implementing safety protocols to protect employees, equipment, and the environment.
- Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA standards.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and hazard identifications to minimize workplace accidents and incidents.
- Performing regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive emergency response plans tailored to the organization's needs.
- Creating and delivering training programs to educate employees on proper safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigating accidents or near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Graduate level understanding of engineering practices, design methods, and calculations.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering.
- Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context.
- Graduate level of competence in the application of standards, processes, and procedures and how they are used in work execution.
- Graduate level of knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.
- Graduate level of competence in own discipline in the execution of assigned tasks.
- Graduate level of knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and prepare applicable technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.
- Demonstrates awareness of policies and procedures that affect specific job assignments.
- Ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete, and easily understood written communications and reports.
- Good level of general computer literacy and basic familiarity with some relevant specialist engineering software.

Expected:
- Fresh graduate with a Chemical Engineering degree.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal).
- Well adept in utilizing MS Office.
- Good communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
