Graphic Design/ UI Design - INTERNSHIP - British Retail/ Fashion/ ECommerce company in JLT

We are looking for an intern to join our company working on Design and Branding for our website, promotional brochures and social media campaigns. You will gain valuable UAE experience, help with your CV, help with your job search after - and the potential chance for a permanent role at the end of the internship.

Working with the Management team on improving design including:
- Social Media
- Website design UI
- Handling different clients/ industries
- Admin support

We are looking for a Graphics Designer with hands-on experience in design role with a superb sense of typography, strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium.
This role is responsible for the concept + design of all digital content, from Branding, Website and Mobile App UI design to creating Social Media Posts/ templates.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
- Create original graphic designs.
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements

- Deep understanding of user experience and user interface design
- Proficient in Adobe Suite Products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
- Strong concept development and graphic design ability.
- Excellent knowledge of composition, color, imagery, and typography
- Ability to self-manage projects and teams and work within time deadlines.
- Experience in creating and working with rich media storyboards, user flow, wireframes, and other information design documents
- Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the both the digital space, staying up to date on best practices in social media and UX.
- 1+ years of digital design experience in the agency space, digital marketing company.
- Experience with Shopify Platform preferred
- Experience in E-Commerce/ Fashion/ Retail industry required
