Job description / Role
As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible for the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You'll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, collaterals, flyers etc. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. A creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
- Design and create enticing visuals for all briefs and deliverables.
- Work effectively with the marketing team to understand all briefs, projects and campaign objectives.
- Conceptualize, create and rollout artworks for a variety of different venues within the Hotel
- Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines for all purposes, producing work of a suitable style and standard.
- Develop concepts and artworks for hotel to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers
- Design collateral including direct mail, ads, posters, newsletters, flyers, invitations, vouchers and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, etc.
- Develop imagery concepts and videos for the hotel's marketing campaigns
- Manage and maintain graphic files, including brand logos, photo and artworks
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and Director of Marketing to produce final design
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing is key for driving profit growth, alongside fulfilling ad-hoc responsibilities within hotel protocols.
- Additionally, you'll manage e-tools, contribute to web strategy development, and provide needed content for all online distribution.
- You'll support campaigns across departments, especially in social media and mobile marketing, while analyzing market trends.
Requirements:
- Creative, self-motivated and highly organized individual
- A strong working knowledge of Adobe CS and fully competent in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is advantageous
- Hotel experience is an advantage
