Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

As our new graphic designer, you will use your knowledge of typography, color, layout, image manipulation, user experience and navigation on website and mobile app to create visually appealing designs that clearly communicate our core product offerings to our customers. In addition to our digital team, you will work closely with our project managers and marketing team to produce world-class assets for print and digital and ensure that all deliverables maintain a look and feel that is consistent with our brand.

Responsibilities:
• Design pages for print and digital so that information is easy to find, read, and understand
• Generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end
• Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes marketers, and product managers in order to create compelling designs
• Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field

Digital:
• Responsible for all the high quality UX-UI design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototype for website and app
• Create intuitive solutions that solve complex problems leveraging modern design and prototype tools (Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Abstract, Figma etc.)
• Find creative ways to solve UX-UI problems (e.g. usability, findability, responsiveness)
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Identify design problems, devise elegant solutions and optimise existing user interface designs
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
• Collaborating with designers and developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software

Print:
• Rendering and presenting design mockups for revision and feedback
• Implementing feedback revision and creating final designs for printing
• Reviewing and proofreading designs to ensure that copy, layout, and dimensions are print-ready
• Overseeing the printing process to ensure color quality and consistency
• Managing the timelines and workflow of print design projects
• Maintaining the brand's consistency across all designs and printed materials
• Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and printing standards

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in graphic design or degree in Design, Fine/Visual Arts or a related field
• A minimum of two years' experience as a Graphic Designer or UX-UI Designer or similar role
• Experience in designing websites, mobile websites, mobile apps and other interfaces and platforms
• Experience in producing a range of printed materials including catalogs, brochure, flyers and advertisement designs
• A strong portfolio that showcases aesthetic awareness and design problem solving abilities (website, apps, print)
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
• A high level of proficiency using Adobe products like InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop (and other wireframing tools)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo or video editing software is a plus

• Excellent teamwork skills, preferably across multiple locations, countries and time zones
• Understands cultural differences and multi-national brands and business standards.
• Ideally has worked in multiple countries, but experience with an international, cross-cultural customer base is essential
• Must possess excellent creative, organisational, verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
• Excellent presentation and slide building skills to showcase learnings, results, capture interest and attention
• A strong eye for visual composition, aesthetics and details
• Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing
• The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into your design work
• Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment
• An appreciation for and awareness of emerging design trends in print and digital
