Apt Resources is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a talented grill chef at CDP level to join the distinguished culinary team at the Royal Palace. If you have a passion for grilling and preparing elevated dishes, we would love to hear from you!

In this role, you will specialize in cooking grilled items and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your creativity and expertise in grilling techniques will play a key role in providing gourmet dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring consistent quality in taste and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning and the development of grilling techniques and recipes.
• Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the grill station and equipment.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create a seamless workflow and outstanding dining experiences.
• Train and mentor junior staff in grilling techniques and proper ingredient handling.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef de partie or grill chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hospitality environment.
• Must have knowledge in continental/oriental cuisine but specialized in grill.
• Strong background in grilling techniques and knowledge of various cuisines.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be based in UAE.

Benefits

Salary: 5500-6500, plus accommodation, food, and other standard UAE benefits.
