Job description / Role
Our client, a leading company in the UAE, is looking for a Ground Operations Manager to join their growing team in Dubai.
The main purpose of the role is to manage the ground operations ensuring a safe, efficient, reliable, high quality and cost effective service. In addition, the Ground Operations Manager will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of ground operations which meets all regulatory requirements, as well as the commercial targets and KPI’s set by the Company, to oversee all Ground handling operations delivery, to oversee the fleet Management for boats, vehicles and golf carts, to maintain the efficient infrastructure and facilities, create process Improvement and carry out team management, including mentorship, appraisals, growth plans and uniform management
Requirements
In order to apply for this role, the successful candidate must have extensive ground operations experience and a detailed knowledge of ground handling requirements, have previous experience of managing a team of people and third party suppliers, have the ability to work well under pressure, be tenacious and resilient in order to succeed in a fast paced and demanding operational environment, be computer-savvy with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to having strong administration skills and experience, the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and possess the ability to drive change in a fast paced, dynamic environment
