Job description / Role
NTS Group are currently working with one of the region’s leading hospitality groups on an exciting and critical group level position. The Group Engineering Director will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth plans and support the senior leadership team in the organisations ongoing development.
The position will play a key role in liaising with all other business units and hospitality projects within your remit, with a particular focus on the pre-opening of new entities across the region. You will effectively manage all of the organisations ongoing projects such as renovations and new builds and will provide guidance to the rest of the engineering team, by leading a large team of directors. You will focus on providing guidance and strategic output to the team and work closely with the CEO, whilst also setting and monitoring all agreed technical budgets. You will deliver engineering and technical support to the multiple business units and provide strategic guidance and expertise in relation to technical design, development and direction of the business.
Requirements
To be successful, you will be a western educated engineering professional with a minimum of 10 years experience (preferably with Middle East exposure) within recognisable reputable global brands. You will have senior management/director level experience gained in a similar working environment and a solid background within hospitality, with both multi brand and multi-site experience (essential). You will have strong project and people management experience with proven leadership skills and a cultural sensitivity ability to work and interact internationally.
