Group Finance Director

Job description / Role

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Finance Director to play a pivotal role in driving our client’s business forward as they embark on a large growth trajectory and acquisition strategy over the course of the next five years.

This is an exciting time to join the group and lead the finance function and overall strategic direction of the group, working closely with the Chairman and CEO. Although already established globally, the offices in UAE are boutique and as such, we need a candidate who has a highly entrepreneurial mindset, who can offset risk against opportunity and drive growth.

The role encompasses financial planning and analysis, developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts; leading the financial due diligence process of the merger and acquisition strategy; financial reporting for all group entities, overseeing the group’s corporate strategy and providing financial expertise and guidance.
Additionally, working closely with the Chairman and CEO on fund raising through various sources, including private equity, venture capital and debt financing.

You have excellent leadership skills with a strong collaborative and supportive working style. Our client is seeking experience within a similar role, from a complex multi-national organisation, with extensive experience in M&A, corporate finance and capital raising. Strong financial planning analysis and reporting skills are vital with a deep understanding of IFRS.

In this fast paced and pressurized environment, strong communication is key, you will be able to interact effectively with senior management, investors and external stakeholders and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
