Our client, a well-established retail group in Dubai, is looking to hire an experienced Group Finance Manager to head up their operations in Dubai.

Client Details

Our client is part of a large and well-established retail group in Dubai with over 40 stores across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They have a centralised Finance function in Dubai and are currently seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to oversee all finance and accounting operations.

Description

Reporting to the General Manager and managing a team of over 15 operational accountants, this Group Finance Manager will be responsible to;

* Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
* Develop Finance and Accounting Systems
* Manage and lead the entire accounts and finance department
* Maintain banking relationships
* Review of all daily transactions
* Manage and strategizing Yearly Audits
* VAT Implementation and Compliance
* Manage group accounting
* Review and approval of Vendor Payments
* Track and Management of A/R and A/P operations
* Manage Treasurer/ Cashier activities
* Supervise and coordinating MIS
* Prepare of Management MIS
* Prepare of Finance and Accounting Reports
* Ensure proper documentation and filing systems

Requirements

The successful candidate for this Group Finance Manager role will have a professional qualification with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a finance management role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a team and overseeing end to end Finance and Accounting operations within a retail group in Dubai. In addition, candidates must have experience reporting into senior management and should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders.
