Job description / Role
Reporting to the director of finance, Financial Controller, you will be responsible to control the Group's financial objectives across all operating companies,prepare month end accounts, bank reconciliations, audits, tax compliance on a day-to-day basis. You will implement and maintain financial control systems within the business, identify and recommend operational efficencies and improvements to reporting structures, harmonisation of policies and other working procedures.
Requirements
- As a financial controller, you will have substantial experience in a financial role, preferably in a UAE headquartered business organisation.
- You will be a qualified accountant with bachelors degree in accounting or economics.
- With an experience of minimum ten years, you will be able to handle different positions within the finance team, lead and set an example for the team.
- You should have demonstrated experience in managing preparation of financial statements for UAE, including preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, management reports, project analysis and management.
- You should have experience in managing remote teams.
