Job description / Role
Our client has recently obtained a new restaurant concept here in the UAE and is looking for an experienced Group GM / Op's Manager to lead the brand and launch the first 2 outlets. Expansion rapidly planned with a view to have 20 outlets operating by 2020.
Duties will include, but not limited to;
- Managing the day-to-day operations for all the company's franchise outlets.
- Complete P&L responsibility, as well as driving and delivering all financial KPIs, including sales and profits budgets.
- Handling of all pre-opening and the opening of new outlets.
- Initiating and rolling out new projects.
- Managing a multicultural team, including responsibility for people performance and development in succession planning.
- Delivering an outstanding food and service experience in all food outlets in relation to their respective individual brand identities.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant food hygiene and health & safety legislation and requirements in all outlets.
- Planning and implementing new ideas and menu development in conjunction with the Assistant GM Hospitality and other key stakeholders.
- Handling the end to end operations of the multi - unit restaurants.
Requirements
- Candidates must have experience within a similar role (5-7 years)
- UAE experience essential.
- A person with detailed knowledge on food & beverage within a quality luxury brand as well as knowledge in wines and beverages.
- Also be well versed in administration and financial aspects with strong attention to details and have good knowledge of Micros Point of Sale System.
- Experience with managing and training a multi-cultural workforce.
- Should be customer oriented, a team player and able to communicate in English fluently.
