In the year 2000, a team of experienced, talented and committed individuals identified the growing demand for high quality, bespoke architectural products and installations in stainless steel, aluminium, glass and other decorative metals such as Brass, Bronze and Copper.

Our client has seen an upward growth trajectory, starting small and expanding to a company with more than 200 dedicated professionals. Their Senior Management has proven phenomenal in the growth of the company owing to their vast industrial experience and capability to delivery high net worth projects.

With such success as a backdrop it is hardly surprising that they are now looking for a new Group Head of Finance with responsibility for the 3 main subsidiaries of the company, which of course will involve plenty of travel in and out of the UAE.

In addition to all the usual skills with which an already successful Head of Finance will be familiar which will need to be demonstrated at the interview stage, our client is looking for someone extra special.

A person who intrinsically exudes the following attributes:
- a strong ethical approach to all work practices and a determination to always present a true and fair view of the financial position
- a demonstrably strong record of success in significantly growing enterprise value
- an ability to improve operations, impacting on growth and maximising on profits
- planning and strategizing expertise for both organic and inorganic growth
- ingenuity and flair for negotiating new sources of finance to ensure long and short term fund availability

Requirements

Clearly the successful candidate will need to be highly qualified and experienced up to the following standards:
- Chartered Certified Accountant
- Certified Management Accountant
- MBA in Finance
- Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of 12 years experience in a similarly challenging role

These academic skills will all need to be wrapped in a highly personable client focused interface with the following characteristics:
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Highly effective communications skills
- A true decision maker
- A team guru offering a positive influence on all who surround them to achieve results
- A natural problem solver with the ability to determine strategies to move the organisation forward.
