Group Recruitment Manager

Job description / Role

Job Purpose

• Recruitment Process: manage all activities related to recruitment & selection process for Ghobash Group.
• Team Performance: supervise activities performed by staff and ensure that are completed efficiently, accurately and in timely manner
• On Boarding/ Orientation Program: supervise the preparation of materials for new hire induction/ and orientation program
• Probation Period: supervise the new employee performance program/ review during the probation period.
• Exit Interviews: conduct the Exit Interviews and evaluate/ analyze employee turnover
• Assessment Tools: conduct and analyze employee personality assessment tools especially for the mid to senior level
• Career Portal: Introduce and maintain career portal for the entire group
• Training: Introduce training on interview skills- competency and behavioural skills
• Build capability with the offices in the region Abu Dhabi and Oman.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develops and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps)
• Supervise activities performed by staff and ensure they are completed efficiently, accurately and in timely manner.
• Monitor the performance of the stuff, and review all performance reports prepared by them.
• Develop and monitor annual manpower budgets and manpower plans in accordance with Ghobash Group strategic plan.
• Develop maintain and archive relevant recruitment database, hiring rate and lead time for the recruitment
• Coordinate with Group HR Director, all General Managers and divisional heads to identify job vacancies or potential, future job vacancies and refer to the Succession Planning Framework in order to screen and identify candidates to fulfill vacancies.
• Analyze the urgency and priority of positions to be filled according to the requirement of head of departments/divisions.
• Develop standard templates to advertise for recruitment needs and coordinate with agencies.
• Segregates recruitment agencies, revise the contracts and coordinate with the recruitment agencies and job portal agencies for sourcing of potential candidates.
• Maintain a database of various recruitment sources (job portal companies, recruitment agencies, universities etc )
• Supervise the activities of screening resumes, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, issuing offer letters with the recruitment team and the head of departments/ division.
• Conduct negotiations with the candidate and discuss all employment formalities post acceptance of offer.
• Supervise and coordinate with recruitment staff and PRO for the purpose of processing visa, employment contracts and travel related formalities of the new recruits
• Supervise the preparation of materials for new hire induction/ orientation programs
• Develop maintain and archive relevant recruitment database, hiring rate and lead time for the recruitment.
• Produce monthly reports for Group HR Manager as necessary with regards to KPIs.
• Conduct the Exit Interviews and evaluate/ analyze employee turnover.
• Manage the employee performance program during the probation period.
• Introduce and conduct employee assessment tools and career portal
• Build capability with the offices in the region Abu Dhabi and Oman.
• Introduce training on interview skills- competency and behavioural skills

Requirements

Educational Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or MBA Degree in HR or Business Administration from reputable Universities.

Skills & Professional Requirements

• Must be fluent in English language, Arabic and other languages are a plus
• Must have excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Graphs etc)
• Strong knowledge of HR principles and concepts; knowledge of behavioural human resource management,
• Knowledge of developing manpower plans, knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations, knowledge of HR systems, Administration skills.
• Fluency in English language. Excellent computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Graphs etc.)

Experience Requirements

• 7-10 years’ experience in HR Management specifically in Recruitment and selection.
