Description:
* You will be responsible for executing and handling group and banquet business so that the Sales and Revenue targets are met, and banquet facilities are utilized to maximize revenue whilst ensuring customer satisfaction with all functions booked. This job entails relationship building and account management, as well as event management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Minimum of two years' experience in a sales role involving sales administration in a luxury international brand hotel.
* Strong administration knowledge and practice.
* Understanding of Microsoft office, Envision and Opera.
* Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Ability to convert business.
* Good understanding of selling techniques and banquet knowledge.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
* Ability to negotiate at an intermediate and above level.
* Friendly, pleasant and comfortable to be around work comfortably in a fast paced working environment.
* Work well individually and equally as part of a team.

About the Company
Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively.
