Charterhouse are undertaking a search for an international operator, within the logistics sector, whom are in the process of looking to identify a Group Tax Manager.

From their Dubai hub, this role shall oversee tax matters across the regional jurisdictions and entities spanning the MEA region with also an insight to US based entities and partnerships. From a technical angle, this role shall be heavily geared towards all areas of corporate tax, indirect taxation spanning also transfer pricing and any policy implementation and guideline.

In conjunction, the client will look for an individual with a regulatory background; whereby exposure to international tax standards, applied IFRS principles and effective mitigation are a critical knowledge base.

This Tax Manager shall also have ownership of all tax preparations and filings, within the regional coverage, whilst also having responsibility for the management and coordination of all tax audit, transfer pricing strategy and any regulatory frameworks to manage areas of payment efficiencies and/or exposure of risk.

Requirements

The client will look to recruit a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA) whom is able to demonstrate a background from within a public accounting firm, with a tax specialisation, combined with an exposure to audit and/or technical accounting standards.

In conjunction, this manager role shall require a background from within a cooperate operation, with exposure to a range of regional jurisdictions, standards and regulatory compliance within the tax discipline.

From a management point of view, this position shall require someone whom is able to oversee and supervise a team of Accountants whilst also developing internal planning, resource allocation and stakeholder management.
