Job description / Role

Synopsis

The role is responsible for the procurement of items mostly spare parts but not limited to, for daily operational requirements cost effectively.

Accountabilities

• Need to have fair knowledge in technical items and its availability in the local market.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for procured GSE.
• Monitor and address quality issues with suppliers and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry standards related to GSE procurement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the procurement process.

Education & Experience

• Proven experience in GSE procurement within the aviation or ground handling industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driving license (manual and auto) is required.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards related to ground support equipment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Etihad Airport Services Ground is the sole ground operations handler at Zayed International Airport.

EASG handles a wide variety of ground functions at the capital's international airport, from passenger check-in and boarding to baggage handling and aircraft services.
