Hadoop Developer

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting multiple Hadoop Developers on behalf of a leading international brand who are looking for talented, industry leading professionals to join their business at head office in Dubai UAE. This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious organisation on an initial 12 month contract basis with the strong potential for renewal.

Requirements

Applications are sought from those with the following experience;
• Track record of successful delivery of Hadoop implementations all the way to Production
• Preferably Cloudera based
• HDFS and related technologies (Avro, Parquet, Snappy)
• Map Reduce and Yarn
• Spark and Spark Streaming
• Flume, Kafka, Sqoop
• Hive, Pig, Impala
• Oozie
• Linux shell scripting
• Experience with following technologies is a bonus:
• Elastic Search
• Solr / Cloudera Search
• Cassandra
• HBase
• Datameer / Trifacta / Platfora and similar tools
• Bachelors Degree and ideally MSC Degree in Computer/Information Science
