Handover & Commissioning Manager

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Faithful+Gould are looking for a Handover & Commissioning Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide Hand Over and Commissioning Management through the transition of the Project/Asset from Construction to Facility Management, including supporting Commercial Team on Technical Matters and DE snagging and punch list rectification.
- Be able to articulate and communicate the role and requirements to all project stakeholders including the commercial teams and tenants
- Ability to know and understand scopes, discipline and trades and be able to actively seek out the challenges impacting the various trades and coordinate with trades at ground level while also communicating and managing up through contractors, authorities, consultants, PMC's and the clients design, delivery, procurement and commercial teams.

Requirements

Essential experience:

- Construction experience with a specific technical qualification architecture or civils works in buildings and infra projects, with Building Services as added advantage.
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand and know MEP systems and their relevant importance in the Testing, Commissioning and Handing over stages of the project and have managed that process on projects of AED 500M and up.
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of post qualification experience.
- Arabic speaker is preferred.
- Abu Dhabi experience is mandatory.
