Head Barista

Job description / Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee team in a vibrant Frenchised cafe located in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional coffee expertise, a flair for creativity, and a dedication to delivering outstanding customer experiences. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our coffee culture and elevate our offerings to new heights.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate the barista team to maintain the highest standards of coffee preparation and customer service.
- Develop and implement innovative coffee recipes and seasonal beverage menus inspired by French cafe culture.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every cup served, maintaining adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage daily operations of the coffee station including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering.
- Collaborate with management to create promotional events and initiatives to attract and retain customers.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback and sales trends to improve offerings and service delivery.
- Maintain a welcoming and inspiring environment that reflects the cafe's Frenchised ambiance and brand identity.

- Proven experience as a barista with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in specialty coffee or French-style cafes.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso equipment, and latte art.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Passion for coffee culture and creativity in beverage development.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a warm, approachable personality.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required by the cafe.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Arabic is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene and quality standards.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
