Job description / Role

Head Chef for a pre-opening restaurant in UAE.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.

Candidate must have experience in
• A creative fusion cuisine
• An impeccable service
• A clean communication
• A sophisticated design

Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.

Approving and “polishing” dishes before they reach the customer

Requirements

Experience - 7 to 10 years

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and fully qualified Head chef.

• Ideal candidate will have minimum 2 to 3 years UAE 4/5 Star Hotel experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Must have good communication skills
• Kitchen Management experience in a luxury Hotel and experience managing a multi-cultural team is essential.
• Must possess finesse and personal flair
• Proven experience as head chef
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
• Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
• Credentials in health and safety training
• Degree in Culinary science or related certificate

Must be presently located in UAE.
