Job description / Role
This opportunity is for a Mediterranean Restaurant located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
As an Italian Chef you will be responsible in managing and organizing all kitchen activities; you will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment.
You will handle the recruitment and training process of all kitchen staff, manage and meet health and safety standards and create menus and new recipes ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
Requirements
You will also be responsible in monitoring and managing stock levels ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed, estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget and plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages.
To be successful, you are currently an Italian Chef in 5-star hotel or stand-alone restaurant, should have previous experience in Mediterranean Cuisine. Must have a minimum of 7 years of proven experience as Italian chef. Having a Degree in Culinary science or related certificate and credentials in health and safety training.
