Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Ensure Private Coaching Targets are achieved through the successful management of your team of Coaches.
• Ensure that Private Coaching Agreements are completed in full and that details are captured correct and accurately.
• Manage the team in terms of delivering the highest standard of coaching, both in delivering of Classes and Private Coaching.
• Daily Reporting of operational performance and compiling of monthly reports.
• Train and develop your team of Coaches to ensure optimal performance from your team in Private Coaching and professional delivery of classes.
• Support the GM in managing the Member Journey execution and delivery.
• Effective and professional programming of classes and ensuring that your team understands how to execute the classes within full understanding of the programming outcome.
• Supporting employment Cost Control by managing departmental employment costs within budget.
• Manage auditing scores about 80% pass rate.
• Meet sales and conduction targets (yourself and your team) through effective and efficient management of your team through weekly 1on1 meetings and monthly business plan management.
• Train and Develop future leaders within your team.
• Train, mentor, coach and motivate team to be successful in their role and maximize their potential (all training to be recorded and filed in team Personal Files).
• Ensure all coaching agreements are completed: self and team.
• Manage performance and develop employees.
• Communicate effectively in the workplace including regular, documented departmental meetings and participation in club meetings.
• Ensure monthly Goal Setting (Business Plans) is completed and driven for target overachievement.
• Conduct monthly Team meetings to discuss performance, progress and changes within the company.
• Attend Business Meetings as set by the General Manager/Group General Manager.
• Train at least 3 times a week.
• Perform Administration duties and lead by example at all times.
• Oversee smooth private coaching agreement processes.
• Cover absence of the coaching team when required and ensure the coaching rota is set to benefit the box operations as well as be prepared to cover holidays and sickness.
• To use APP X and other operating systems/manuals efficiently.
• Train all staff to deliver excellent classes, private coaching sessions and customer service at all times.
• Maintain open line of communication in any business related issues.
• To comply with all business rules and policies and adapt to any changes within the outlined timeframe. This includes monthly briefs and email communication on business updates.
• To be supportive to all departments and conduct training to HODs in the Box.
• Ensure full compliance to all company policies and procedures.
• To comply with all Health and Safety responsibilities.
• Handle member complaints within the club and provide response within 48 hours.
• Ensure execution of the Member Journey in Box.
• Handle cancellation of Private Coaching Agreement requests following correct policy and procedure.
• Provide quality coaching programs with will inspire consistently high attendance and at the same time an induction/orientation/fundamental class program which will inspire prospects and visitors to join GoldBox Fitness.
• Together with club HODs and GM, produce monthly Retention Strategy to drive member retention focus.
• Control departmental employment costs.
• Ensure that classes are always covered and that the standby list is always updated.
• Monitor coaches’ class delivery and quality.
• Control stock allocated to Fitness Department.
• Support Box Audits and focus on on-going improvements.

Requirements

• CrossFit Level 2
• Reps Level 3
• Nutrition Certification will an added advantage.
• Candidate must have experience in programming classes for CrossFit and High Intensity classes like HIIT.
• Must have experience in managing a team of coaches with the ability to develop and train existing/new staff.
• Will be required to coach classes and do one on one personal training sessions.
