Job description / Role
Responsible for leading and driving the strategic direction of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives across the business.
This role will focus on ensuring the effective adoption of value-adding AI technologies and use cases, aligning with their priorities and policies.

Description
* Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with national priorities and industry trends.
* Identify, validate, and prioritise AI use cases that deliver tangible value to government entities.
* Oversee AI funding allocation and management, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Establish and oversee a responsible AI governance framework, addressing risk management, principles, controls, roles, responsibilities, and compliance.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials, academic institutions, technology providers, regulators, and private companies.
* Drive the development of a vibrant AI ecosystem through partnerships and initiatives.
* Define and establish foundational AI capabilities, platforms, and tool kits to support widespread AI adoption.
* Provide executive oversight for AI projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements:
* Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in AI, technology, or digital sectors.

* Experience in building and managing partnerships with various stakeholders.
