Job description / Role
As the Head of Architecture, you will be a key member of the senior management team, be an effective ambassador liaising with other parts of the business and will be managing the company's new architecture team. You will drive exciting changes and investment in the best technologies available.

Description
* Create and develop high level and detailed infrastructure designs, assess infrastructure costs, create roadmaps, reusable design patterns & standards, hardware & software standard operating environments as well as develop operational and use case models for new technologies.
* Ensure pragmatic structure, discipline and commerciality into the delivery of highly resilient, scalable, distributed technology services.
* Be driven by an underlying passion for technology, the Head of Architecture will be technology agnostic, with a proven pedigree of end to end business facing architecture definition, delivery and ownership.
* Be a strong architecture practitioner, able to define and deliver business aligned IT technology enabled outcomes for Countrywide with pragmatic governance and controls. A broad experience across digital, business applications & analytics is essential.
* Work with the CTO to take ownership of the technology landscape `as is`, driving continuous improvement towards the `to be` target model, supporting solutions and architecture roadmaps.
* Have experience leading an architecture portfolio of agile development and implementation of digital platforms, products & services, ideally for customer management, sales and marketing processes. Experience in digitizing internal and external - customer oriented - processes.
* Bring experience leading long term architecture delivery in a comparable environment with a diverse, challenging stakeholder group.
* Develop the architecture framework for delivery of digital projects aligned with the overall delivery framework owned by the Demand and Programme functions.
* Contribute to establishment and support execution of a portfolio of proofs of concept and digital projects ensuring that outcomes meet expectations regarding company improvement.

Requirements
* Extensive experience delivering substantive technology change and evolving the maturity of the technology solutioning and delivery functions in complex environments.
* Detailed technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics suite.
* Migration background.
* Strong experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud application development and data architecture.
* Proven experience of successful data centre migrations
