Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking for a Head of Civil Domain with management expertise to oversee the relationships of THALES CIVIL accounts with its key clients in UAE. The candidate will serve as a senior leader in Thales UAE business and manage and direct all civil KAMs (Key Account Managers).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role is to lead civil domain accounts, lead blended teams of civil KAMs, and contribute in sustaining and growing our business in a dynamic environment in UAE while working with all Thales Group businesses to achieve long-term success

- Candidate should demonstrate a proactive, entrepreneurial, problem-solving spirit and accelerate civil business growth.
- Proven Key Account Management proficiency with management expertise to maintain full command over complex projects and diverse comprehensive Thales offering.
- Lead civil programs and their various stakeholders, including development and maintaining deep client relationships through his/her diverse KAMs team.
- Collaborate with other leaders in UAE team to cultivate a motivated, and engaged local UAE team.
- Lead and influence business strategy in country for all civil accounts and cultivate business development with new clients.
- Lead and leverage early identification of new opportunities and taking ownership of the development and capture of our Thales offers to the end-user(s).
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics, KPIs, Customer Satisfactions reports, Performance reviews and Opportunities reviews.
- Achieve good quality order intake through customer advocacy and excellent offers to the client; Manage and support KAMs to achieve sales order intake targets with agreed list of opportunities.
- Working and supporting executive team and GBU to ensure that there is full understanding of the customer requirements and our strategy to secure the targeted contracts.
- Acquiring a thorough understanding of potential customer needs and requirements.
- Manage and support KAMs to resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- 8+ Years of experience in senior leadership management role leading small-medium size team.
- Proven experience in customer management and engagement
- Experience in leading diverse and senior blended team of various backgrounds
- Possession of excellent in-person and virtual communication skills
- Knowledge of UAE business and political challenges and opportunities is a MUST.
- Experience in initiating, growing, and maintaining client and customer relationships
- Commercial and Project knowledge skills for dealing with project delivery issues as they arise and to develop positioning strategies on new business
- Team player, Leadership skills; Innovative with vision, and
- Excellent communication skills and strong networking are a must.
- Experience in either of the following domains is desirable: Physical security - Airport System Integrations, Air Traffic Management, Cyberspace, Transportations, Airline Inflight Entertainment Systems, or relevant market verticals
- Knowledge of Arabic & French is desirable
- Experience with Cybersecurity and CIP technology
- MBA, BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field; Engineering background is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills; Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
