Charterhouse is working in partnership with a leading joint venture organisation which is experiencing significant growth in the Middle East. Our client is looking to hire a Senior Corporate Communications Manager to define and lead the organisations communication strategy as part of the brands growth and long term transformation plans.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate communications manager who has previous experience in leading company merger projects or large scale company transformation strategies such as going to IPO. This crucial role will define the brands internal and external communications strategy, devise strategic partnerships with media relations and agencies to increase brand exposure and ensure successful execution of company news and announcements. The successful candidate should be able to act in a consultant capacity, advising senior stakeholders and partners regarding key business decisions related to crisis management, brand identity strategies and development of company polices/procedures. Experience of working in an agile fast paced environment is crucial as there will be many changing priorities. As Corporate Communications Manager you will make commercially viable decisions, adapt to business needs, and demonstrate unshakeable resilience especially when dealing with crisis management situations.

The successful candidate will act as the face of the brand, representing the business at events and liaising closely with PR/Media. In return our client offers long term growth and development, alongside the opportunity to build and shape the organisations communication and brand strategy.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you should ideally have a masters in Media or related subject, a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior communications position which has involved leading on communication/marketing strategy for a company merger/major rebrand or IPO. Strong experience of operating at strategic level in a large and complex organization is essential. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence at stakeholder level.

Experience of working within the UAE is essential and strong preference will be given to candidates which are fully bilingual in English/Arabic.
