About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding Head of Dance to join our successful team at GEMS Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis from September 2023.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- BA (Hons) Degree in Dance
- Head of Dance teaching and leadership experience
- Track record of outstanding Dance Examination results
- Experience teaching Dance examination GCSE/A-Level/IB Dance/ BTEC
- Willingness to commit to extra rehearsals and support wider school events and performance.
- Able to teach a variety of Dance Styles

Desirable
- Experience of working in the Dance industry at some capacity
- Able to teach other dance qualifications such as ISTD, RAD or others
