Job description / Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Data Science leader with a proven background in leading a team dedicated to developing the adoption of value based analytics. You will work with all areas of the business to help them plan their ongoing analytics utilisation and focus on high value ROI.

Description
* Develop and communicate the vision for analytics across the organisation
* Develop the overall strategy with senior management
* Program management the execution of the strategy
* Lead the organisation in developing its capability to obtain value for business data
* Use your deep understanding of analytics approaches, tools and methodologies and apply them to various areas of the business
* Lead a multi-disciplinary team of analysts and guide them on methodologies, processes and best practices in analytics, particularly advanced analytics.
* Develop processes and tools to manage the team and its interactions with the business
* Provide education/clinics to BUs and Corporate teams to grow the own analytics capabilities
* Collaborate with the IS team on data acquisition

Requirements
* Must have a relevant degree with Master's education level preferred
* Minimum 10 years experience in Data Science or Analytics with strong track record of effective leadership gained in the FMCG or Pharma sector
* Proven experience of developing the analytics strategy for a large organisation
* Programme management and strategy execution experience for analytics
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior management across the business
