Job Description

As the Head of Design (Homeware), you must perform the following duties:

* Closely work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals;
* Ensure collaboration across categories and materials;
* Lead and manage the design process for each development including product sample review and sign-off;
* Conduct competitor visits and analysis in order to understand market trends and determine potential risks/opportunities.
* Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organisation and that advance our brand and proposition strategy;
* Recruit and manage design support, and work alongside existing team to direct the development of parallel categories.

Requirements

Requirements for an Ideal Candidate (Head of Design - Homeware)

* Minimum of 10 years' homeware designing experience;
* Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects;
* Passionate, commercial and driven individual;
* Commercial acumen and a passion for design and product development;
