Head of Digital Operations

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working in partnership with one of the most exciting Retailers in the world looking to hire a Head of Digital Operations to join their team in Dubai. You will join one of the most reputable employers in the world with one of the most exciting product and technology team in the region.

As Head of Digital Operations, you will:
- Be involved in all stages of digital/cloud infrastructure development
- Lead the development of stable, scalable, and reliable software for products/services
- Lead the development of efficient systems and open source tool-stacks
- Ensure all operational KPI targets are met
- Ensure all decision-making processes are communicated to all stakeholders
- Recruit, manage, and coach DevOps and SRE teams
- Evaluate team performance through KPI reporting tools

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering/Design or equivalent
- Must have experience in handling digital products platform in a multi-channel, agile environment
- With at least 10 years’ experience in similar role and capacity
- Strong familiarity in Cloud or DevOps environment
- Highly collaborative and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technical skills: SAP OnPremise, Cloud
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus
