Job description / Role

An exciting opportunity exists within a top international engineering consultancy for a Head of Electrical Engineering to join their expanding team in Dubai.

Reporting to the Director of Operations you will have responsibility for providing technical and design leadership to a team of electrical engineers and for acting as project leader on complex multi-disciplined MEP projects. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the design and delivery of complex electrical projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with your mechanical counterpart you will play an integral part in ensuring technical and design excellence on projects and throughout the division. To represent the company at client and supplier meetings and to be actively involved in new business development. This is a broad role which requires an individual to be very hands on as regards design and the team but also be accountable for contributing to the strategic leadership and operational performance.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you will ideally have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, 15+ years of experience, and a proven ability of successfully managing teams and large-scale projects. This position would suit a dynamic, client focused, personable and technically strong Electrical Engineer with previous people, project and client management experience.
