Job description / Role
Working for the local franchise partner of this highly successful international Quick Service Retail concept combining both food and beverage you will have the opportunity to develop your career rapidly through their aggressive rollout of new outlets over the next few years in the Gulf region. Reporting to the MD you will be tasked with driving the sales & profit and overall brand standards are met and exceeded within your region of outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Multi-site management of approximately 50+ retail / QSR stores / franchised outlets
• As the head of the QSR brands you will be responsible for managing new and existing concepts through your Operations team
• Leading the new business development initiatives and seeking new F&B / QSR franchise concepts to launch
• Strong leadership of your team of Area Managers and instilling a highly motivated work culture with a strong emphasis on customer service & sales / standards
• Overseeing the franchise management / agreements and principal liaison. Working on marketing & PR plans in conjunction with principle partners to ensure brand awareness and further market penetration
• Ensuring the brand standards are adhered to and exceeded.
• Regular site visits within the Gulf to ensure the customer service experience is always at an exceptional standard
• In conjunction with head office Project Management team be involved in new store / outlet openings within the Gulf region
• Resource planning with HR to plan recruitment, new outlet training and ongoing staff development
Requirements
• Minimum of 15 years commercial experience in Quick Service Retail / F&B franchise, must have recent experience in the Gulf
• 5 years + experience in a Strategic Business Management / General Management / Senior Operations Management capacity overseeing multiple outlets whether company owned or franchised
• New business development of franchise / gaining new F&B / QSR brands
• Strong financial & budget management experience, sales, profits, costs etc.
• Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and get the best out of your teams
• Well versed on modern Health & Safety rules and regulations both internationally & locally within the Gulf region
• A strong commercial accumen with an honest & dedicated approach to achieving sales targets & goals
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural work environment
