Head of Finance

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:

* Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, 5 year financial plans and all statutory financial reporting
* Forecasting financial results and creating forecasting models
* Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls
* Recommending cost reduction strategies and evaluating and initiating investments
* Overseeing the budgets, allocate resources and manage cash flows
* Conduct profit and cost analyses
* Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
* Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions

Requirements

* The ideal candidate should have experience in providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the company's financial commitments are met

Requirement:

* Proven experience as a Head of Finance or a similar position
* In-depth understanding of cash flow management and bank reconciliation
* Hands-on experience with cash flows, treasury, FP&A and P&L
* Understanding of CAPEX, customs and duty, VAT/TAX
* Solid understanding of financial management and accounting
* Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
* Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
