Job description / Role
- Reporting to: General Manager
- Number required: 1
- Duration: Permanent Position, 3 years contract
- Desired start date: 01 July 2019
- Probation: 3 months
- Working Hours: Sun - Thurs 8am to 5pm
- Commission / Bonus: Bonus depends on performance and target agreement

Objectives:
- To take charge of the financial health of our company by administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.
- You should be familiar with audits, invoices, budget preparations and VAT laws.
- Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time sensitive tasks.
Finance Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget, monitoring of set budget and identify potential areas of cost savings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and interpret financial information to General Manager while recommending further courses of action.
- Recording transactions such as income and expenses, and posting them to various accounts.
- Maintain cash flow by reviewing banking activity and reconciling monthly reports.
- Maintain petty cash fund and monitor employee monthly expenses.
- To complete the quarterly VAT returns reporting in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensure all receivable are collected in time and prepares payments by verifying authorized invoices.
- To manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed external auditors to ensure statutory accounts are produced within the required time.
- To comply with Federal Tax Authority and Customs by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- To work with the team to ensure that the guidelines and policies are being consistently followed.
HR Responsibilities:
- Process monthly salary through WPS and prepare salary statement when requested by employee.
- Process new visa for new employee and ensure that all employees’ residence visa and health insurance are updated.
- Renew Office Leasing, Trade License and Company Insurances in time.
- Comply with group guidelines and policies.
- Maintain office file and employees file.
- Working with vendors to determine cost saving.
- Ensure that the office runs smoothly and ensure the offices are clean and orderly.
Requirements
University Qualifications: B
- Sc in Finance, BSc in Accounting
Other certifications obtained:
- CPA
Nature and length of previous experience:
- Must have 5 years of professional experience in a Finance role.

- Specialist knowledge:
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- In depth knowledge in UAE VAT Law
- Proficiency in accounting SAGE software, MS Excel literate and having good working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- UAE Driving License
