Job description / Role
Charterhouse are exclusively working with a market leading Middle Eastern retail brand, who due to an internal promotion, is looking to hire a new Head of Finance.
The company culture is geared for growth, with a great social environment and a culture which is designed to internally promote as well as progress the careers/experience of the staff. You will work closely with the CEO and the other VP’s of the organisation to drive business performance, improve efficiencies and manage the finance operations. You will head up a small team as well as being responsible for the commercial finance strategy of the business. Budgeting and forecasting will be the main focus for the position along with managing the transactional finance team.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a UK/US re-locator, experience working in the Middle East is not essential. Strong IFRS knowledge is essential and the ability to confidently business partner should be demonstrated through key achievements and a proven track record. This role is the perfect opportunity to a strong qualified CIMA/ACCA/CPA Finance Manager/Controller from a UK/US retail organisation. Due to the nature of the role, we can only accept retail finance candidates for this position.
