Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading financial institution seeking a seasoned Fixed Income professional to head the business and run its operation strategically from A-Z, including ownership of risk/portfolio management, analysis, and generating investment ideas.

The role:

• Overall responsibility for the fixed income business line and its future growth in terms of AUM/revenue
• Lead and manage Fixed Income business and Fund Managers
• Responsible for the performance and growth of AUM & revenue
• Ownership of the risk management, portfolio management, analysis, and investment idea generation for business
• Participate in the Asset Allocation investment committee
• Hold senior client review meetings, presenting at pitches/ finals with prospects and consultants
• Oversee and develop the investment process/performance across the business
• Drive performance across short-term and upper quartile over the long run (3+ years)
• Provide strategic input into and oversight of product development

Requirements

Requirements:

• 16+ years of experience in fixed income asset management with a global financial institution
• Knowledge of financial markets and fixed income instruments
• Ideally a Master's or similar would be advantageous e.g. CFA
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a Finance/ relevant field
• Experience in both managing money and product development.
• Strong communication/ presentation and pitching skills to prospective and current clients
