Head of Graduate Placements - Dubai

We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Graduate Placements for a leading business school in Dubai, accredited by the Ministry of Education. Our client is seeking an ambitious and tenacious individual with a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, to join this exciting institution. As Head of Graduate Placements, you will manage a team of three Junior Graduate Placement Executives and will be responsible for managing and coordinating the graduate placement activity of the business school. In line with their strategic objectives, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing relations with different companies across the GCC region and within the UAE. Representing them to prospective employers, you will seek out potential placement opportunities which will include organizing visits and ensuring that the employers’ and student needs are met. Monitoring the suitability of students with the employers, your role will entail promoting placement opportunities, visiting the workplace to meet quality guidelines and gathering and analysing market information, trends and competitor developments, whilst ensuring the long-term objectives are met and in sight at all times. You will lead by example to create a clear team vision and establish challenging performance goals within your day to day leadership to obtain the overall strategy. You will also be responsible for conducting performance appraisals as well as coaching and driving continuous mentoring and learning opportunities to your direct reports.

Salary:
AED 18,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Due to the seniority of this role, those with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar position are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a team as well as building strong relationships with corporate and non-corporate entities. Responding to the needs of both clients and graduates, you will be will be diplomatic and a strong negotiator and an excellent team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Complete fluency in English is essential to this role.
