Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly qualified HR Professional who wants to make a difference and add significant value to our client as they continue their impressive growth. Working internationally across multi time zones, the company has a strong stability factor and has been fortunate enough to remain largely unaffected by the pandemic. As their expansion continues, there is now a requirement for a Head of HR, who will have responsibility for both operational and strategic HR and someone with a ‘hands on’ approach.

The purpose of the role is to incorporate all key HR functions concerning people optimization, establishing and implementation of set policies and streamlining and further development of existing HR capabilities. This will include the full HR cycle from recruitment, payroll & benefits to employee relations, conduct management procedures and budgetary responsibilities. The successful individual will be tasked with organisational design, which has internal complexities due to the expansion and the highly multi-cultural environment. Your purpose will be to ensure that robust policies and procedures are developed to assist the organisation through their next phase of development. They have a strong focus on diversity and commitment to employee values across the group and thus it is imperative that you can implement a compensation, benefits and manpower planning strategy, alongside a motivating and engaging learning and development plan for all employees.

Additionally, you will be an excellent communicator (English must be to native standard) and be able to manage a large volume of stakeholder relationships to develop insights into HR best practices and manage the team through change from the most senior individuals and downwards. With expected staffing needs foremost of importance, the role will manage the full recruitment life cycle and ensure the plan incorporates a strong talent pool on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

This represents an exciting time of positive change for our client, and we are ideally seeking a candidate who wants to be part of this, someone who can take global HR business practices and apply these to a client emerging from their boutique formation into a strong international presence. It is expected that all candidates will have superior UAE HR knowledge and labour law experience. You will hold a relevant degree and Level 5 CIPD as a minimum (or higher SHRM and Masters qualifications) for this position. Candidates with passion and energy to drive the business forward, those who are able to manage many competing deadlines and HR agendas will be rewarded with a highly interesting and challenging role.
