Head of Interior Design

Job description / Role

My client is one of the largest organisations in the world currently involved on a number of exciting developments across the Middle East within Luxury Hospitality, Mixed-Use and Residential sectors.

As part of their continued development and growth, we have been exclusively appointed to recruit a key position within the business and assisting on other several key hires.

Their most pressing requirement is a Director or Head of Interior Design in Dubai to manage the ID department across various projects in the region. We are looking for candidates with proven track record and a strong portfolio of being able to lead over the full Lifecyle of design. You must have experience working on large Hospitality and Residential projects - Not location specific.

Key Activities (But not limited to):
• Setting up the full programme during project kick off
• Developing and leading the Interior Design division and providing full direction
• Attending meetings and drafting notes and actions of meetings
• Concept development
• Client liaison
• Involvement and reviewing design information

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Architecture
• Must have strong understanding of concept development and oversee projects from start to finish
• Managing teams
• FF&E experience/knowledge would be desirable
• Strong portfolio
