Head of Interior Design

Job description / Role

We are exclusively representing one of the largest organisations in the world with a worldwide reputation who are looking to make a Senior level appointment.

Currently involved on a number of exciting developments across the Middle East within Luxury Hospitality, Mixed-Use Developments and Residential sectors, the organisation continues to grow YoY with new unique developments in the pipeline.

We have been tasked to help the business in their search for a Director level ID specialist for their team in Dubai to manage the ID department across various projects in the region. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record and a strong portfolio of being able to lead the full Lifecyle of design.
You must have experience on large Hospitality, Residential or Luxury projects - Not location specific.

Key Activities (But not limited to):
• Setting up the full programme during project kick off
• Developing and leading the Interior Design division and providing full direction to the team
• Attending meetings and drafting notes and actions of meetings
• Concept development
• Client interaction
• Involvement and reviewing design information

• Minimum 15 years of experience in Interior Design
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Architecture
• Must have worked for globally recognised or specialist Interior Design practices
• Managing multicultural teams and setting goals/objectives to achieve as a business unit
• Strong portfolio of projects throughout career
