Employment: Full Time

This role has 3 core focus areas - Operational Delivery of the infrastructure tier for the Enterprise, integrating the application and infrastructure services to ensure business service availability and embracing new ways of working with infrastructure design / delivery teams.

Description
* End to end accountability for Infrastructure service availability and performance
* Manages a 24 x 7 team of internal and technology partner resources to deliver the outcomes required by the Group and its customers
* Establish, maintain and improve infrastructure resilience and recoverability
* Asses the efficiency and effectiveness of process / systems to deliver current and future customer needs
* Asses and Manage service provider performance within your portfolio. Accountable for managing service provider delivery of operational outcomes commensurate with the requirements of the service.
* Meet agreed performance service levels for all clients of your portfolio; contribute to the development of SLA's and OLA's that support the requirements of the group and its customers
* Maximising operational efficiency by optimising resourcing and sourcing arrangements whilst maintaining operational quality and stability
* Working in partnership with external providers to deliver operational outcomes; governing performance, costs, risk and relationships to ensure seamless integration with service customers
* Involvement in any risk reviews and audits of the services within your control, and managing subsequent follow up activities through to completion.
* Working with Senior IT Managers and defining the portfolio service strategy to ensure the services and expected benefits and outcomes are clearly articulated and aligned to the Group's overall business strategy
* As a member of the IT Operations Leadership Team support the development of the Operations strategy.
* Providing input into and forming the infrastructure strategy including alignment to the business roadmap.
* Current assessment of Service Management maturity and plan for uplift aligned to the IT Operations Strategy

Requirements

* Experience in managing high performing teams within complex technology environments
* 10+ years in IT Operations within a large organisation preferably Banking
* 5+ years experience in Infrastructure Management and Operations
* 3+ years experience in Service Delivery reporting and business stake holder management.
* Expertise in IT Service Management, with a core operations competency.
* Functional and technical understanding of critical application systems and infrastructure services.
