Education/Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree would be an advantage.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or Cloud (AWS/Azure) certifications would be a strong advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10-15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of CBUAE regulations, banking/financial IT frameworks, and compliance requirements.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Arabic.
• In-depth knowledge of the Central Bank of UAE regulatory framework for financial institutions.
• Expertise in core banking/financial systems, payment gateways, SWIFT, ATM/POS networks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure), cybersecurity frameworks (NESA, ISO 27001), and data governance.
• Experience in blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), and API integrations.
• Proficiency in network security, firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and penetration testing.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Agile methodologies, and enterprise architecture (TOGAF).

Brief Responsibility

To develop and execute the client's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements set by UAE Central Bank (CBUAE), ensuring the IT infrastructure's security, resilience, and efficiency, enabling seamless financial operations, innovation, and digital transformation. To oversee IT governance, cybersecurity, data management, and financial technology advancements to drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
