Head of Operations
We are seeking a technically proficient and strategic Head of Operations responsible for developing and driving innovation according to Peg B’s product roadmap.The Head of Operations should be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience, able to provide ultimate oversight and guidance to systems, applications, risk and infocsec, operations and support.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Take active part in defining and setting the business goals in accordance with the overall Company strategy
• Define, set and deliver Operational goals in line with the company strategic objectives
• Ensure full compliance of systems and operations with the established industry standards: ITIL, ISO, PADSS, etc.
• Provide overall direction to the Data Analytics Team in the fields of customer insights and segmentation, as well as risk management and fraud prevention.
• Build strong relationships with the relevant regulators in order to ensure that the company operates without infringing any existing laws and regulations.
• Scan the market for new opportunities of business partners acquisition Expand and manage the integration partners network.
• Ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place supporting the company’s products and services, including infosec, IT procurement processes and procedures, licensing and certifications.
• Liaise and support the technical team to manage the platform performance, upgrades and other modifications
• Directly accountable for all aspects of internal and external customer support
• Oversee the SLAs design, implementation and setting of adequate controls
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports exist for all relevant activities across the corporate infrastructure

Requirements

Desired Experience and Qualifications
• Minimum of 4-year University degree in Engineering, Finance, Administration,
• 5+ years’ experience in Operations Management
• 3 years’ experience in a Senior Management role for a multinational company in telecommunications, mobile and/or e-payment services
• Extensive knowledge of emerging technologies in building and scaling distributed, highly available systems, along with solid understanding of how technology relates to business, market and payment services industry and apply such knowledge to support the needs of the business.
• Worked across diverse cultures and geographies is and added advantage
• Knowledge of risk and regulatory requirements of the Mobile and e-Payment Services industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Senior Management, Government, and other Officials
• Good understanding of financial standards and principles
• Ability to develop comprehensive and detailed business cases to drive the business and motivate proper budget allocation
• Language fluency in English
