Job description / Role

Head of Operations role for an insurance company.The Role:
* Manage the Compliance Function, supporting the Compliance Officer, ensuring the proper implementation of the applicable Group Policies
* Ensure a proper and consistent implementation of EH Group Operations strategy
* Ensure a proper and consistent implementation of an Internal Control system
* Manage Policy Administration
* Manage Facilities
* Ensure an efficient Procurement function, in alignment with Group standards
* Optimize Operational processes
* Manage IT according to the Group standards
* Manage the Operational Resilience process and BCM, in alignment with Group standards

* Enhance the procurement performance, improving service levels and decreasing costs
* Bringing business model innovation (support digitalization)
* Improve Facilities quality standards and related Cost efficiency
* Improve the collaboration with Fronters and MMCD, improving the Service levels and Client satisfaction
* Improve the Compliance and Internal Control mind-set in the Company
* Increase Productivity and Quality of the outputs


Hard Skills:
* Project management, both locally or regional
* Compliance knowledge and ability to understand the local GCC culture and political landscape
* Analytical skills adaptable to Budgeting, Cost Management, Expenses, TelCo, Contracts
* Policy Administration and Customer Accounting knowledge
* IT basic knowledge to handle the set-up of related matters but aslo to manage local IT support
* Black Belt OPEX certification is a plus
* Presentation skills

Soft Skills:
* Process oriented to inforce existing processes within the team but also in liaison with other teams
* Management skills and exposure to diversity in management and approaches
* Strategic orientation
* Polyvalent and Multitasking to be open to unexpected tasks outside the perimeter of the role and feel comfortable jumping from one topic to another while managing priorities properly
* Good Communication skills
* Good Negotiation skills
* Diplomatic approach to understand and manage processes locally and within Region/Group

* Working well under pressure and with a good time management
* Change management
* Presentation skills: to feel comfortable to present to the board and during town halls
