Job description / Role
Due to the business growth of our client, a leading commercial bank based in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Operations Head to join their multinational team in DIFC branch.
Key duties include:
* Provide strategic leadership and monitor all the activities in operations department to support the Bank’s growth strategies and achieve projected business results
* Design and review the overall operational policies and procedure of the Branch, recommend enhancements and modifications to ensure adequate controls are in place
* Establish and maintain clear performance matrices to track and evaluate the overall efficiency of the operations system
* Responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of the banking operations in the Branch
* Keep abreast of latest Banking policy and procedures at all levels
* Develop strategies to improve quality of services of the Branch
* Evaluate and control risk factors associated with all the functional activities.
* Ensure that all the back office operations are running smoothly and efficiently
Requirements
* The ideal candidate will possess 12 years transactional banking experiences, with last 5 years working in a leadership capacity.
* Fluency in English is a must.
* Having long-term commitment to be working in Dubai.
