Job description / Role
Job Summary:
- The Head of Procurement (Real Estate sector) manages the procurement process to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and efficient purchasing that aligns with business and project requirements.
General Responsibilities:
- Align actions and decisions with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols.
- Respect the organizational hierarchy and collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Departmental Specialized Responsibilities:
- Oversee centralized purchasing of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage contracts, warehousing, and procurement processes.
- Ensure procurement efficiency by evaluating and improving processes.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and government regulations.
- Manage and approve departmental budgets.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract finalizations.
- Oversee the procurement team’s performance and development.
- Implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
- Conduct audits of procurement processes and ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure sustainable and ethical procurement practices.
- Collaborate with teams to meet project-specific procurement needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
- Ensure procurement aligns with the company’s strategic goals.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of procurement experience
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM)
- Extensive supplier management experience
Competencies:
- Strong procurement knowledge and strategic sourcing experience
- Contract management and negotiation skills
- Leadership and vendor management abilities
- Financial acumen and budgeting expertise
- Comprehensive supply chain management knowledge
- Understanding of procurement compliance regulations
- Problem-solving and process improvement skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of sustainability and ethical procurement practices
- Ability to manage audits and implement process improvements.
Salary:
AED
25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
