Job description / Role
We are looking to hire a senior risk head for our client based in Middle Asia.
Reporting to CEO
Team size: 3-4 people
Responsibilities include:
• To develop and maintain corporate-wide risk management framework, policies and programs covering business, financial, operational and regulatory risks.
• To ensure strategies and procedures are aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• To drive effective risk culture through implementation of appropriate people and risk management strategy.
• To provide guidance, awareness and recommendations to the management team and business heads on risk matters
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant field
• Minimum 8 years of risk management experience in general insurance, preferably in a Multinational Insurance firm
• Experience in managing teams
• Fluent in English
• Exposure to underwriting and actuarial is required
• Experience in a multicultural work environment
• Exposure to life insurance is not a must but would be a plus
