Head of School

Job description / Role

We are currently looking for highly adept and reliable Heads of School (Girls, Boys, and Primary Schools). These internationally-minded learning communities are accredited and authorized to offer the IB Curriculum. The Heads of Schools are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the schools which include but are not limited to the following:

* Providing instructional leadership
* Management of staff
* Management of facilities and operations
* Parent, Student, Staff, Administrator, District, and Community Relations
* Supervision, Preparation, and Administration of Reports and Regulations
* Extra and Co-Curricular Activities

Requirements

Required Experience:
* Minimum of three years of successful experience as an assistant principal, assistant headmaster, or assistant head of school;
* Experience as a principal, headmaster, or head of school is preferred;
* Appropriate management experience may be substituted;
* Minimum of three years as a teacher;

Required Education & Certifications:
* Minimum of a Master's degree from an internationally accredited college or University;
* Training in instructional supervision and evaluation;
* Training in organization strategic or operational planning; training in organizational development and facilitation; background and experience in constructing school master schedules and calendars;
* Training in personnel selection, recruitment, retention, and dismissal;
* Knowledge and experience in proper school finance and accounting techniques; training and experience in student assessment;
* Current license or certification from a governmental agency as a principal/headmaster/educational administrator;
